Actions

There are three types of actions available to players: set actions, use actions, and combat actions.

Set Actions — Set actions are any actions that are specific to the state of an event. These are listed in the top portion of the Action frame. Some set actions will always appear by default. Other set actions will only display under the right conditions, or may always appear, but have different outcomes based on the character's current status.

For example, there may be a "Lift the boulder" action. This action might not display until a player's Brawn is 10 or more points. Or, the action might always display, but the Feedback frame will tell you if you are two weak to move the boulder if your Brawn is too low.

Use Actions — There are two type of use actions. One is using an item, and the other is using an ability. Players use the pull-down menus to select an item or ability, then click on the "Use" button. If an item or ability is not ready to be used, it will disappear from the list until it is ready to be used again.

Combat Actions — The Combat actions only become available when the event has a potentially combative opponent associated with it. There are two combat actions, one for each hand. The items used for combat are set under the equipment tab of the Character Sheets.
